Annika ties the knot with Mike McGee in Orlando

A month after calling it a career in professional golf Sorenstam gets married in Orlando.

Annika Sorenstam was married on Saturday to Mike McGee in a ceremony and then held a reception for 125 guests at Lake Nona Golf and Country Club.

Sorenstam and McGee have been going out together now for almost three years, McGee popped the question to Sorenstam over the summer. It will be the second marriage for Sorenstam, who filed for divorce from David Esch in February 2005 and met with McGee, a former sports agent and son of golfer Jerry McGee, later that summer.

According to the Associated Press, Travis Wilhelm, the minister at Christian Campus House at Trine University in Angola, Ind., officiated the ceremony. Swedish friend Maria Bertilskold was the maid of honor, and Stan McCamon of East Palestine, Ohio, was McGee's best man.

As for the honeymoon which will be a ski trip, it has been put on hold so that Sorenstam can host the Annika Invitational, an American Junior Golf Association event for 60 top females around the world. She also will be making some appearances at the PGA Merchandise Show at the end of the month followed by the "Annika Celebration" the first week of February which will be a Skins game among Sorenstam, Lorena Ochoa, Paula Creamer and Natalie Gulbis.
