Our Travelers picks and who's hot and who's not:

This week's field includes:

  • The field includes 6 of the top 25 in the latest Official World Golf Rankings, with three from the Top 10, Sergio Garcia, Kenny Perry and Vijay Singh The other 3 top-25 players in the field are Anothony Kim, Lucas Glover and Zach Johnson.
  • The field includes 9 of the Top 25 on this year's PGA Tour money list. Those players include Zach Johnson, Kenny Perry, Brian Gay, Lucas Glover, Dustin Johnson, Kevin Na, Brian Davis, Jerry Kelly and John Rollins
  • The field includes nine past champions: Stewart Cink (2008 & 1997), Hunter Mahan (2007), J.J. Henry (2006), Brad Faxon (2005), Woody Austin (2004), Notah Begay III (2000), Brent Geiberger (1999), Olin Browne (1998), Paul Azinger (1989 & '87) and Mark Brooks (1988).

A perfect way for fantasy golfers to check on the past performance of all the players in the Travelers Championship are these performance charts, one with the players listed alphabetically and the other with the players listed by average finish.

One last way to check who is the best is through a special formula worked out in Golfstats that gives us the best average performances at the Travelers Championship in the last five years.

A a good cheat sheet is this list of odds from the top bookmakers in England.

Another cheat sheet is this list of odds from the top bookmaker in Las Vegas.

Time to look at our who's hot and who isn't:

Kenny Perry will have a good week, but VJ should start strong and be hard to catch.
