Look at the top picks for the AT&T Pebble Beach and who's hot and who's not after the first five weeks on the PGA Tour.

This week's field includes:

  • The field includes 7 of the top 25 in the latest Official World Golf Rankings, with three from the Top 10: Phil Mickelson, Jim Furyk and Padraig Harrington. The other top 25 players in the field isSergio Garcia, Sean O'Hair, Retief Goosen and Luke Donald.
  • The field includes 14 of the Top 25 of this year's PGA Tour money list. The players in the field are Ryan Palmer, Matt Kuchar, Luke Donald, Rory Sabbatini, Brandt Snedeker, Dustin Johnson, Marc Leishman, Alex Prugh, Retief Goosen, Tim Clark, J.B. Holmes, Martin Laird, Sean O'Hair and Kevin Na.
  • The field includes 6 past champions: Dustin Johnson (2009), Steve Lowery (2008), Phil Mickelson (2007, '05 & 1998), Vijay Singh (2004) and Davis Love III (2003 & '01) and Mark O'Meara (1997, '92, '90, '89 & '85).

A perfect way for fantasy golfers to check on the past performance of all the players in the AT&T Pebble Beach field are these performance charts, one with the players listed alphabetically and the other with the players listed by average finish.

One last way to check who is the best is through a special formula worked out in Golfstats that gives us the best average performances at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am in the last five years.

A a good cheat sheet is this list of odds from the top bookmakers in England.

Another cheat sheet is this list of odds from the top bookmaker in Las Vegas.

Retief Goosen this week for me. Goosen ranked 4th in putts in the SBS and T-14 in the same stat for the Sony Open. He was equally as good in driving accuracy and greens-in-regulation. The above stats fit the bill for the winner this week and I am expecting Goosen to seal the deal this time round. Keep a close eye on Vaughn Taylor. Plays the Bob Hope Classic (Pro-Am) very well and shot -6 in opening round at Pebble last year. Thanks Sal
