Who to Watch for at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am:

Best Bets:

This is the winner for sure, playing great right now, well rested after his big bachelor party bash in Vegas plus great record in this event. Bet the farm.

Padraig Harrington

This guy could be the sleeper pick. Yes he hasn't played in the AT&T but in the 2002 U.S. Open at Pebble finished T8th. The last tournament he won in European was the Dunhill Links, the European Tour's AT&T played with celebrities over three different courses. Look for him to do well this week.

Mike Weir

Is there anyone more destined to win here? Great record in this event, seems to always shine no matter how he has played the weeks previous. This could be the week for Weirsy.

Best of the rest:

Jim Furyk

These courses should be right up his alley, if the putter is rolling he will play well this week.

Seems to be the best in nasty weather, if the weather gets bad look for him to shine.

Great from tee to green, again needs to get the putter going to complete the deal. Has had lots of great memories in this event

Knows how to contend in this event, seems to have gotten all the kinks out of his game after a poor start in San Diego. Seems to always contend at least once in February, this could be the place.

Longshot's that could come through:

Phil Mickelson
2006 '05 '04 '03 '02 '01 '00 '99 '98 '97 '96
T38 Win 3 64 Cut T3 T61 T21 Win T33 -

Has been Jeckel and Hyde in this event. Doesn't seem to show any consistency, also should be worried about how he is playing right now. Still he could snap back on a moments notice that is what makes him such a threat.

Nick Watney

2nd best putter on tour this year, played great at the Hope and has had some good moments in the FBR. Could be the sleeper of the week.
