This week's field includes:

  • There are no top-ten players in the field off of the latest Official World Golf Rankings and only two top-25 players, Stewart Cink and Zach Johnson.
  • The field includes only two of the Top 25 on this year's PGA Tour money list, Stewart Cink and Ryuji Imada.
  • The field includes seven past champions: Zach Johnson (2007 & '04), Ben Crane (2003), Retief Goosen (2002), Scott McCarron (2001 & 1997), David Duval (1999), Paul Stankowski (1996) and Bob Tway (1986).

A perfect way for fantasy golfers to check on the past performance of all the players in the AT&T Classic field are these performance charts, one with the players listed alphabetically and the other with the players listed by average finish.

One last way to check who is the best is through a special formula worked out in Golfstats that gives us the best average performances at the AT&T Classic in the last five years.

One of the hottest players in the game. Yes he hasn't contended, but he has been racking up a lot of top-tens lately that not many people have noticed.

He has a dismal record on this course, but wisdom says that good drivers of the ball do well here. Look for a change of his playing status on this course after a good week.
