Who to Watch for at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am:

Best Bets:

Phil Mickelson

The weather is going to be good, you know his record in the AT&T makes him the easy favorite and his good play of late makes this look as easy as New England winning the Super Bowl, whoops, guess Phil is going to have to work hard this week.

Jim Furyk
2007 '06 '05 '04 '03 '02 '01 '00 '99 '98 '97 '96
T6 T27 T37 - T5 T30 - T18 Cut T3 4 -

This is another of those events that he has a great record at and never won, putting is always a key and if he does well with the flatstick he will win.

Daniel Chopra

Has done very well in this event, with his added momentum of winning let's see if that carries over to this week..

Best of the rest:

Mike Weir

Cut T3 2 T4 T3 T52 T8 T7 Cut Cut - -

Other than last year's missed cut, Weir has played very consistently and the best of any non-winner at Pebble Beach, yes he has been disappointing in '08 but look for him to snap out of it this week.

Vijay Singh
2007 '06 '05 '04 '03 '02 '01 '00 '99 '98 '97 '96
T11 T7 Cut Win T28 T8 2 T2 T10 WD T15 -

A very disappointing year for him, still he plays well in this event and you have to think he will bounce out of this funk that he has been in.

Kevin Sutherland

Has played well the last two weeks, comes to a site that he did well last year he could be a very good sleeper pick.

Brandt Snedeker

This is an event he can do well in on courses that he could do well on.

Don't laugh, he has a lot of experience in this event and he really wants to play well and qualify for the Ryder Cup team, this week is important in that quest.

Jonathan Byrd

Played good last week until the final round, played well at Pebble in 2006.

Long shot's that could come through:

Steve Elkington
2007 '06 '05 '04 '03 '02 '01 '00 '99 '98 '97 '96
Cut - - T69 Cut Cut T69 T46 T15 T6 T15 -

He has a strong back so fantasy golf players should ride him this week and see how much longer Elkington can keep this good play going.

Davis Love III
2007 '06 '05 '04 '03 '02 '01 '00 '99 '98 '97 '96

Everyone seems to root for Davis, playing a month early after getting over his injuries says that he is stronger than ever and hitting the ball well, just may be rusty and show the lack of competition .

Player to avoid:

Padraig Harrington
2007 '06 '05 '04 '03 '02 '01 '00 '99 '98 '97 '96
T30 - - - - - - - - - - -

Just starting to play again, has had Singles the last couple of weeks he is a longshot to make the cut let alone playing well, avoid taking him as a pick.
