The only ones not in the field are Phil Mickelson, Padraig Harrington, Retief Goosen, Paul Casey, Niclas Fasth, Andres Romero, Richard Green, Richard Sterne, Colin Montgomerie, Anders Hansen, Mike Weir, Davis Love III, Lee Westwood, Jose Maria Olazabal and Robert Karlsson.
- The field includes only 48 of the top 50 of this years PGA Tour money list. The only ones not in the field is Phil Mickelson and Padraig Harrington.
- The field includes nine past champions: Trevor Immelman (2006), Jim Furyk (2005), Stephen Ames (2004), Tiger Woods (2003, 1999 & '98), Jerry Kelly (2002), Robert Allenby (2000), Steve Stricker (1996), Billy Mayfair (1995) and and Scott Verplank (1985).
A perfect way for fantasy golfers to check on the past performance of all the players in the BMW Championship are these performance charts, one with the players listed alphabetically and the other with the players listed by average finish.
