This week's field includes:

  • The field includes only eight of the top 25 in the latest Official World Golf Rankings, with two from the Top 10: Ernie Els and Justin Rose. The other six top 25 players in the field are Sergio Garcia, Angel Cabrera, Luke Donald, Geoff Ogilvy, Zach Johnson and Trevor Immelman.
  • The field includes seven of the Top 25 of this year's PGA Tour money list. The players in the field are Justin Leonard, Steve Marino, Boo Weekley, Kevin Na, Mike Weir, Luke Donald and Dustin Johnson.
  • The field includes 10 past champions: Mark Wilson (2007), Luke Donald (2006), Todd Hamilton (2004), Justin Leonard (2003), Matt Kuchar (2002), Jesper Parnevik (2001), Dudley Hart (2000), Mark Calcavecchia (1998 & '87), Tim Herron (1996) and Joey Sindelar (1988).
