Has a lot riding on his shoulders this year. A lot is expected from him and he could show some of that great potential this week with a win.

Yes, he hasn't shown us much this year and yes, he hasn't shown us much the last three years in this event. Still, you have to think it's a matter of time before he gets everything together and wins.

Has not shown us much this year, except for the last two weeks he has putted very well. That could be a good sign this week.

Best of the rest:

He is still getting over the shingles, but he played very well last week, including a good putting week so look for him to contend.

Never count him out the week after missing a cut. He got cut at last year's FBR and won the next week at the AT&T. Look for a drastic improvement over last week. He just has to get the putter going.

Can he get it going with the putter? That has been his problem as of late. If he can get it going, he will do well this week.

Knows the course better than most and tends to play well here. Count on him for a good finish this week.

Long shots that could come through:

Forget his record as of late at Riviera, he has played good enough to win twice. Had a great finish last week with a good putting week. Look for him to do well again and contend.

Lots of memories on this course. He won in 1995 when he was expected to. If he has some gas in the tank after a good start to his year, look for him again at Riviera.

Player to avoid:

Putting terribly and despite hitting the ball great has to be questioning himself after his poor finish at Pebble.
