This week's field includes:

  • The field includes 45 of the top 50 in the latest Official World Golf Rankings,. The only ones not player are number one Tiger Woods, Martin Kaymer, Arron Oberholser, Toru Taniguchi and Robert Karlsson.
  • The field includes 24 of the Top 25 on this year's PGA Tour money list. Only one not in the field is Tiger Woods.
  • Of the field of 144 players, 101 players have won a total of 414 PGA Tour titles and 25 players have won a major championship.
  • The field includes 8 past champions: Phil Mickelson (2007), Stephen Ames (2006), Fred Funk (2005), Adam Scott (2004), Davis Love III (2003 & 1992), Justin Leonard (1998), Steve Elkington (1997 & '91) and Fred Couples (1994 & '84).
