He has quietly gone up the leaderboards this year (T-6th last week in Miami). Always plays well in New Orleans.

Has not played in New Orleans in 12 years, but his game seems to be blossoming and coming around.

Best of the rest:

Padraig Harrington

If the wind blows he could lap the field. He's played so-so this year, but is on the verge of something good.

Stewart Cink

Don't know if he is starting to cool off or ready to make one big splash with a victory. I expect a good week from Cink.

His game is coming around and he's playing a course that should be perfect for him as he gets ready to defend at the Masters.

Three straight top-tens. The course is perfect for him, he could use a happy place because he has had a tough time this year.

Another player who could surprise us. He was in contention in his last start and has a good record in New Orleans.

Long shots that could come through:

Disappointment from last week could turn into happiness if he can keep his game together and play well on a course that he did well on in 2005.

Player to avoid:
